The Cornell Migration & Human Rights Program supports the collaboration of scholars, practitioners and students at Cornell’s Law School and its Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy and more than a dozen visiting Fellows with deep expertise in immigration and human rights. The Program’s approach is cross-disciplinary, with scholars in many fields who focus on migration issues. These include demographers, economists, historians, geographers, labor relations experts, political scientists, and sociologists. They also include expert legal, medical, and public health clinicians whose daily work with students and the public provides a platform for participatory research that grounds our recommendations. The Program is at the forefront of law and policy debates about immigration.
